Well, here I am, and I'm starting a new little blog. I don't know what the purpose of it is really, and I don't have any expectations for outcomes either.
But I'm starting it because I'm going to be having my first baby in a few months, and if I'm being honest, I don't really know what I'm doing. Added to that, with benefit cuts and caps etc etc, we're going to be doing it on a rather tight budget, which is a bit terrifying, but a good opportunity for us to learn a lot about the world and ourselves.
So I'm going to muddle along and post as much as I can about this little adventure on a shoestring, because I think it could be really fun, and I think it's be quite cool for my small boy to be able look at it in years to come, and see how his fantastic little life began.
So for now, all I know is that I'm going to use this space to talk about what's going on in our lives, to post clever recipes I find, and hopefully, soon enough, preparation pictures of all the ways we're getting ready for the small boy to arrive. Look out for guest posts, and from time time you might even be lucky enough to find a message from my husband (he's pretty rad - ask anyone).
I'm really hoping that you'll get involved and help me with the many questions I have - whether you have kids and you're sharing your wisdom, or you don't have kids and you're reminding me of a little thing called perspective, I will truly value your input.
